About East West Bistro
East West Bistro is two clever and stylish restaurants in one. Downstairs serves an extensive fusion cuisine and has a great bar scene and wine selection, while upstairs has a more upscale, yet non-traditional Italian menu, accepts reservations and has a private room for parties. Daily specials are served every night. As seen in Wine Spectator, Atlanta Magazine & Georgia Trend. East West Bistro has won the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine for four consecutive years.

Hang On To Your Wallet

We were looking for an early dinner on Sunday in downtown Athens and came upon East West Bistro. The place was nearly empty so we got a good window seat. We tried the specials, both fish, for the whopping price of $27 and $30....sans salad, bread, or water. The food was well prepared.....but not a value at these prices. The waitress seemed unsure and had a tendency to disappear. Would we recommend? Yes, if you have the $$$ to burn. Otherwise, take the time to search for a good, fairly priced place in town.

This is a fun Asian-fusion (my description) restaurant that everyone who visits Athens should try at least once. The food is amazing, the bar is fun, and the wait staff is great! I knew a waiter there through my UGA program, and you could tell that he really enjoyed his job there. The atmosphere is upscale, but the prices are decent. There's even an upstairs room that you can reserve for private parties or large groups. Reservations are probably a good idea for the weekend, but if you don't make them you can always wait at the bar until a table is open!

East West Bistro is a wonderful place for both lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is very trendy and hip while the food is delicious and tasty. The location is great as well. It is downtown and surrounded by great shopping and bars. East West Bistro is a great place for a romantic dinner. They also have room for large parties in their upstairs section.

The food here is hard to describe, but it has an Asian influence. Everything here is delicious.
