Absolutely HORRIBLE Realty Office

I recently spent part of my senior year in a Carriage House Realty townhome. They were the most unprofessional, unpleasant, and disrespectful realty company I have ever dealt with. In addition to not allowing me to be a part of deciding when to schedule the move-out inspection, they wouldn't allow me to alter the date. I have a full time job in Atlanta, and can't take off a full day of work. After I couldn't make the move-out inspection, they informed me that I would receive a full move-out inspection damages list within 30 days. I received no such information. Months later, my parents, who have a pristine credit rating, are being harassed by a collection agency, being told they owe HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS in damage fees. Not my parents credit rating has a severe dent in it, and it will take YEARS for them to recover. We were not even notified of the information. Instead of coming directly to the previous inhabitant, they immediately sold the account to a collections agency. They were difficult to get along with the ENTIRE time I lived in the townhome. They were not willing to compromise with me about anything at all. I usually don't publicize bad word-of-mouth, but being involved with Carriage House for my living experience has been one of the worst nightmares of my life. Even after moving out, it has been going on for months, and it has cause an extreme amount of stress on my life. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH THEM! I don't want anyone else to have to go through the hell that I have been through. Find another agency that is willing to treat you with the respect that you deserve.
